Cystitis in Bitches is More Common than Dogs
Cystitis in bitches is more common than dogs due to the shorter distance the bacteria needs to travel before it reaches the bladder. It is also thought that the female will be more prone as she squats and bacteria may be picked up from the ground more readily. If left un treated this easy to control infection can be serious and travel to the kidneys.
